PE Teacher - Macclesflied Location: Crewe Role: Physical Education (PE) Teacher Contract: Full-time / Long-term (with potential for permanent opportunities) Start Date: ASAP or next term We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a supportive school in Macclesfield. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles Manage behaviour effectively to create a safe and inclusive learning environment Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress Adapt activities to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND pupils Ensure health and safety procedures are followed during all activities Contribute to extracurricular sports activities where appropriate Work collaboratively with staff and support teams Must-Have Skills & Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills Ability to motivate and engage pupils of varying abilities Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safeguarding and child protection Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Good to Have Experience teaching PE across KS3 and KS4 Experience working with SEND or SEMH pupils Coaching qualifications in specific sports Ability to lead or support extracurricular sports clubs Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching Why Join Us?
