About the role…
* As a Mechanical Engineer, you will provide budgets/estimates and fixed-price quotations to clients for minor mechanical/plumbing works.
* You will put together small works designs and provide pre-construction information.
* You will assist in delivering a mechanical cyclical maintenance programme.
* The role includes providing technical support to clients and supporting the in-house operational team with planned and reactive maintenance.
* You will be part of a team delivering high-quality, customer-influenced cyclical repairs, maintenance, and installation services.
* The successful candidate will procure and manage contractors and be responsible for health and safety on site.
* You will work independently and as part of a team across schools, public buildings, and housing properties within the Council’s portfolio.
