Churchview Surgery is looking to appoint a salaried general practitioner to join our well‑established, high‑achieving practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to work part‑time, giving the flexibility and freedom to work in other areas with the possibility of extending employment and increasing working hours in the future.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and innovative GP with strong clinical skills to join our small, friendly, GMS/EMIS practice.
Main duties of the job
Deliver a mix of routine and urgent GP consultations, including face‑to‑face, telephone and home visits as appropriate
Carry out appropriate referrals, investigating and prescribing
Ensure safe and effective clinical decision‑making and safety‑netting
Manage a wide range of chronic and acute conditions
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
Participate in clinical meetings
Work collaboratively with the whole general practice team
About us We are a fully computerised (EMIS system) practice, able to offer face‑to‑face, telephone and video consultations to our 6100‑person population as well as home visits to our house‑bound patients. Location: We are based in the small town of Old Hill, easily accessible via public transport.

Experience of working in a primary care environment
Experience of continued professional development
Experience of QOF, PCCF and clinical audit
Experience of medicines management
Experience of ICB initiatives
General understanding of the GMS contract
Experience of EMIS
Experience of Microsoft programmes
Experience of Docman
Previous experience in UK general practice
Qualifications
Qualified GP
GMC registered general practitioner
