The position involves developing and executing customer strategies and sales objectives for finished products and by-products. Key responsibilities include ensuring contract compliance, maintaining customer relationships, leading the Sales and Customer Service team, and managing market risks. The role reports to the Global Vice President, Commercial.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Draft, negotiate, and execute customer contracts.
2. Maintain customer relationships by resolving issues and ensuring high satisfaction.
3. Develop new customer accounts.
4. Coordinate with Raw Material Purchasing, Market Intelligence, Finance, and Business Partner teams.
5. Coach and develop the Sales and Customer Service team for high-quality service at optimal cost.
6. Support the Sales and Operations Planning (SnOP) process.
7. Develop and implement objectives, targets, and strategies.
8. Gather and share market intelligence from internal and external sources.
9. Manage expense records.
10. Represent the company at industry meetings and functions.
11. Participate in budget and business plan development.
12. Manage by-product sales strategies and agreements.
13. Contribute to policy creation and administration.
II. Requirements
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Over 10 years of sales and management experience, preferably in the metals industry.
* Strong analytical skills in finance and commerce.
* Proficiency in Excel and presentation software.
* Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time.

* Familiarity with quality systems and OHSAS 18001, hazards, and risks.
