Bank Workers - Short Stay Break Service - Derry/Londonderry (NI284/10/25/Bank) Salary: £12.60 per hour Hours: Residential - 48 hours per shift Location : Residential location is Roscor Youth Village, Enniskillen. Spencer Road, Derry/Londonderry and/or Enniskillen (office base used on occasion). Depending on the young persons location staff will be required to collect them from their home location. Contract Status: As and when required We are currently looking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced Bank Workers to support the current service and potential growth in our Timeout Project based at our Roscor site. We have opportunities available for permanent or bank contracts. About the service: The Short Stay Break Service meets the needs of young people (8-17) and their families by providing an alternative to placement for 4 days and 3 nights, social, educational, cultural and recreational break at an Extern youth facility. Short Stay Break Service staff engages the child or young person in a range of activities and can help him/her examine lifestyle issues while the social worker intervenes with the carers thus allowing the child or young person to return to their living arrangements with the crisis being averted. Overnight allowance of £83.36 per night. This residential working pattern can allow for beneficial work life balance.
