Unitrust Protection Services (UK) Ltd have an exciting opportunity available for a Contract Support Officer to join our team. The role involves training on several sites across our London portfolio. In return, you will receive highly competitive hourly rates subject to the sites you will work across.
Base pay range
Job Title: Contract Support Officer
Location: Various - London (City/West End)
Rate: £13.85 per hour minimum, Contract Support Officer rate on other sites may vary.
Contracted Hours: Minimum 16 shifts per month, days, nights, and weekends
Responsibilities and expectations are to contribute to a secure, customer-focused environment across client sites, with a commitment to professional conduct and high service standards.
Responsibilities
* Deliver outstanding customer service to staff and visitors
* Take an active interest in, and commit to, the client and tenants
* Maintain an excellent environment and service, striving to exceed expectations
* Represent the client, tenants and other service providers positively, ensuring a quality customer journey
* Be flexible and adaptable to all tasks or challenges
* Be highly presentable, accountable; take responsibility for tasks identified or allocated
* Ensure all contact (internal or external) is clear, courteous, polite, professional and respectful
* Protect client/tenant/other service provider confidentiality; safeguarding people and information
* Appropriate use of CCTV/access control and other electronic management systems, with timely reports and documentation
* Complete rostered duties and related tasks to the highest standard
* Follow Health and Safety and Environmental procedures and ensure compliance with SIA or other regulations
* Complete any other reasonable tasks as instructed by line/ Senior management
* Support internal and external audit processes as required
* Act with integrity and in the best interests of the company in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner
* Remain resilient in sensitive environments, handling conflict with respect and empathy
* Be prepared to manage a wide variety of scenarios, people and challenges
* Follow Company Policies and Procedures and the Code of Conduct
Security Specific Responsibilities
* Welcome and assist staff, clients, tenants, and visitors in a courteous manner
* Ensure no unauthorized persons are present in restricted areas
* Check identity and credentials of staff, contractors and visitors where required
* Work with colleagues to maintain site security
* Identify and mitigate threats to persons, premises or property, escalating as needed
* Have good knowledge of the premises to assist with queries
* Direct deliveries (to the Loading Bay) and cover the Loading Bay position as required
* Record details of suspected criminal activity and undertake initial investigations as needed
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, visitors, tenants, service providers and clients
* Have knowledge of local transport links or services to answer queries
Essential Skills
* SIA Licence - Security Guard/Door Supervisor
* Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, and confidence
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
* Resilient and calm under pressure with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
