Sales Support Administrator / Account Manager | Poole (Hybrid – 3 days in office) | £30,000 - £35,000 per annum | Permanent
Peaple Talent have partnered with a fast-growing SaaS business in Poole looking to recruit a Sales Support Administrator / Account Manager on a full-time permanent basis.
The Sales Support and Account Management function plays a pivotal role in enabling the business to grow and deliver exceptional service to clients. This includes providing high-quality administrative support to the sales team, managing day-to-day client relationships, and ensuring customers receive maximum value from the company’s software solutions.
The Sales Support Administrator / Account Manager will act as a key point of contact for clients, while also supporting internal teams with accurate reporting, pipeline management, and process improvements. The role requires excellent organisation, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to building client satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the first point of contact for customer queries, providing timely and professional responses.
* Support the sales team with administrative tasks including CRM updates, order processing, and reporting.
* Manage and nurture client relationships to drive satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities.
* Coordinate and schedule client meetings, demos, and follow-up activities.
* Maintain accurate sales records, ensuring data integrity across systems.
* Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
* Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and client-facing documentation.
* Monitor and report on account activity, providing insights to sales leadership.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement within the sales support function.
* Support the onboarding of new clients, ensuring they have the tools and resources to succeed.
Key Experience Required:
* Previous experience in a sales support, account management, or customer service role (preferably within SaaS or technology).
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
* Experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
* Experience supporting or managing B2B client accounts is desirable.
* An understanding of SaaS business models and recurring revenue would be advantageous.
