Job Title: Lunchtime Supervisor (SEN Primary School)
Location: Reigate, Surrey
Hours: 11:30am- 1:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
We are currently recruiting for a vibrant Special Educational Needs (SEN) Primary School in Reigate, specialising in providing tailored education and care for children with Autism and complex needs.
The School is looking for a caring and patient Lunchtime Supervisor to join their supportive team. In this role, you will ensure a safe, enjoyable, and structured lunchtime for the pupils. You will play an essential part in their daily routine, fostering positive interactions and supporting their social and emotional development.
This is a long-term role. Monday to Friday and the hours will be from 11.30am-1.30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising students during lunchtime, both in the dining area and during outdoor/indoor play.
* Supporting pupils with eating and encouraging positive mealtime behaviours.
* Engaging children in safe and enjoyable activities during playtime.
* Assisting with personal care if required, including toileting and hygiene needs.
* Ensuring the safety and well-being of all pupils, following safeguarding and health & safety policies.
* Promoting an inclusive, respectful, and calm environment tailored to the needs of each child.
We are seeking someone who is:
* Kind, patient, and compassionate, with a genuine passion for working with children with additional needs.
* Able to remain calm and composed in a busy environment.
* A strong communicator with excellent teamwork skills.
* Experienced in working with children with Autism or complex needs (preferred, but not essential).
* Willing to undertake relevant training, including safeguarding and first aid.
