About the role
As Interim Brand & Marketing Director, you will be responsible for our UK Brand Marketing strategy, social, and global effectiveness. You will own how Trainline thinks about its brand and investment, formulating a bold and far-reaching brand marketing vision and strategy, and delivering plans that achieve ambitious results. You will lead a respected team spanning UK Brand Marketing, global social, and global effectiveness, driving results, insights, and ROI across our plans and external partners.
Reporting to our VP Brand & Marketing, with a background at SkyScanner, Moonpig, and recognized as a UK Top 100 Marketer & UK Power 100 in Marketing, you will play an important role in her top team. You will serve as an external face for Brand at Trainline, engaging with media, industry events, and the wider marketing community. Collaborating with stakeholders across commercial, finance, product, growth, and customer services to C-level, you will bring compelling storytelling and business cases to various teams within the organization.
You will play a critical part in shaping our business direction. Your innovative ideas and ability to execute them will give us a competitive edge in a growing marketplace, inspiring millions to make more environmentally sustainable travel choices daily.
Qualifications
We seek results-driven marketers capable of thinking big to achieve our ambitious plans. Bringing a robust blend of marketing and brand experience, you will deliver game-changing plans and ideas that propel our market performance. You should have a proven track record of executing concepts through teams, agencies, or internal matrices, with a GSD mentality. Comfort with data is essential, as is experience in a B2C eCommerce or tech environment. Additionally, you should have a compelling story about building, nurturing, and hiring exceptional marketing teams.
