We're building a brand-new team of passionate Support Workers to support our incredible client in his family home in the charming village of Mere, Wiltshire. Meet the Client: Our client is an 80-year-old RAF veteran and former engineer, businessman, and teacher who is making excellent progress in his rehabilitation following a respiratory and cardiac arrest and stroke nearly three years ago. He requires a tracheostomy and enteral feeding tube to support his ongoing health needs. Despite these challenges, he leads an active and fulfilling life. He enjoys attending model railway events, working on projects in his dedicated hobby room, going to the gym two to three times a week, and following football. You will be supporting a warm, friendly gentleman with a great sense of humour who lives with his wife in a welcoming family home. This is an opportunity to provide meaningful support, companionship, and encouragement, helping him continue to enjoy the activities that bring him purpose and enjoyment. Shifts Available 2 waking nights a week available 8:30pm 8:00am You'll work with one individual, allowing you to build a consistent and trusted relationship while becoming part of a dedicated care team. Although hours are generally regular and consistent, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract. Please note: Due to the rural location of the client's home, a driving licence and access to transport are required.
