We are Quarriers Glasgow SOLE (Supporting Outcomes and Life Experiences). We are recruiting for our Supported Living service in the Glasgow Southside area, where we provide 24-hour care and support for adults with learning disabilities sharing their home. Our main priority is to find people with the right values, behaviors, and attitudes that match our own. The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same.
Duties include full support with personal care needs and household chores, as well as participating in a range of activities that support health and wellbeing, such as musical evenings, activity groups, social evenings, shopping, and banking.
What you will need to succeed/bring to the role
* Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude
* Experience in Microsoft packages, Word, Excel, etc.
* Ability to build trusting relationships
* Empathy and excellent communication skills
* Excellent team player
* Ability to apply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals
Working pattern
This is a Relief Role with weekends, early/backshifts, and sleepovers required.
