About The Audit Industry & Services Team

The Industry & Services team provides audit services to companies of varying sizes, from FTSE 350 to turnover over £3bn, including smaller privately-owned companies. The entities we audit range from manufacturing, transport, energy and utilities to services such as media, retail, professional services and technology. Recent UK government audit reform has created opportunities for our Industry & Services team. We continue to win significant new business across large and listed companies, including major international corporations. Forvis Mazars is a key challenger audit firm to the Big Four, and our rapid growth provides an exciting time to join.

About The Role

As a graduate trainee here\'s what will await you during your three-year training contract:


Year 1

* Master the art of auditing: Learn to prepare meticulous audit documents using the latest software and methodologies.
* Financial statements: Develop a deep understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.
* Work side by side with clients: Be immersed into the business world by working directly with a variety of diverse companies; understand their operations, challenges, and unique circumstances.
* Build relationships: Connect with key stakeholders both with our clients and internally in your team and across service lines; gather information and build strong professional relationships.


Year 2 and 3

As you progress, you\'ll take on increasingly complex audit work, such as revenue recognition, valuation, and risk assessments. You\'ll take ownership of audit engagements by taking a leading role in delivery. You\'ll mentor new and more junior team members. You\'re joining us as a permanent employee, so the three years is only the beginning of your exceptional career journey at Forvis Mazars.

Learning and Development

Fully funded professional qualification for this role: ACA. Our supportive culture includes coaching, mentorship, and one-on-one guidance to help you grow, belong and make an impact. In addition to funding qualifications, we provide time off to study and a blended training approach including in-person and virtual learning. You will be allocated a buddy before joining who will support you to settle into the team and navigate your first year at Forvis Mazars.
