Role Overview
Seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to shape and drive growth strategies. This position works closely with senior stakeholders and provides hands-on support for new business initiatives and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute annual BD plans aligned to business goals.
* Lead strategic initiatives for market expansion.
* Act as main internal point for BD, supporting senior leaders in lead generation and pitching.
* Identify new business opportunities and develop partnerships.
* Lead conference and thought leadership activities.
* Oversee BD budgets and analyse ROI of activities.
* Build and strengthen client relationships.
* Mentor and manage BD assistant.
* Coordinate legal directory submissions and cross-team projects.
* Deliver regular progress reports to leadership.
Key Skills & Experience
* Substantial experience in business development (investigations/legal preferred)
* Track record in executing strategic BD plans
* Self-starter with a dynamic approach
* Strong leadership and people management
* Excellent communication and relationship skills
* Analytical, with market insight
* CRM and BD tools proficiency
