2. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is mandatory.
3. Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for science.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
6. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with educational best practices.
Responsibilities:
7. Deliver high-quality and engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
8. Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of abilities and learning styles.
9. Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback to support their academic growth.
10. Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating and cohesive science curriculum.
11. Participate actively in departmental meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
12. Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and respect for all.
