Job Description

Service Care Legal are working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its Private Client team in Bromley. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional secretary to support a busy team of solicitors in a department known for delivering high-quality legal services.Working closely with lawyers and support staff, the successful candidate will provide efficient and accurate document production, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within required deadlines. The role suits someone organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment.ROLE: Legal Secretary – Private ClientLOCATION: BromleySALARY: £28,000 – £32,000 per annumKey Responsibilities

* Produce and amend legal documents including correspondence, wills, lasting powers of attorney, deeds and other client documentation in line with firm style and procedures.
* Prioritise incoming work, proofread documents for accuracy and ensure all attachments and formatting are correct.
* Liaise with solicitors, team leaders and support staff to ensure timely completion of work and maintain clear communication on progress.
* Support wider team workloads when required and contribute to maintaining an efficient document production service.

Person Specification

* Previous Legal Secretary experience within a Private Client department.
* Accurate typing speed of 60+ words per minute with strong document formatting skills.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook, with the ability to amend and reformat documents.
