Newent Doctors Practice isseeking a 3 session Salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive team on a 1 yearfixed term contract. We are a training practice hosting GP trainees and medical students from Three Counties Medical School. We are very happy to support and mentor newly qualified GP's. Main duties of the job
No duty days, no home visits, no bloods or document admin. 25 patient contacts per day, with your choice of 10 or 15minute appointments. 6 weeks annual leave and 1 week study leave (prorata). SystmOne and Accurx in use. Working Pattern 3 sessions- can be flexible regarding hours and days. We ask that one day is a later start on Thursdays, working through to 8pm (routine prebooked appointments only). About us

You willprovide a full range of NHS services to patients registered at the practiceincluding clinical exam, diagnosis and making referrals when appropriate. You will carry out face to face and telephone consultations, checking and signing prescriptions, dealing with queries etc. Person Specification
Qualifications
You must be a medical practitioner whose name is included in the General Practitioner Register under article 10 of the General and Specialist Medical Practice Order 2003 You must not be under suspension under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983 You must be currently on a performers list and not suspended from that list or from the medical register Accredited member of the Royal College Of General Practitioners (MRCGP) Experience
Experience working in practice as a GP Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. £11,000 to £12,000 a sessionDependent on experience.
