About the Role: What you'll be doing This is a dynamic and flexible role that requires high levels of resilience and adaptability. You’ll be inheriting a thriving network of foster carers and children who rely on our team for consistency, support and care. Your day-to-day will involve: Nurturing the Network: Providing hands-on support to our foster carers, helping them manage the day-to-day challenges of providing a loving home. Safe Journeys: Confidently accompanying our young people to appointments or activities, sometimes involving distance driving in various conditions. Digital Mentoring: Helping our foster carers get comfortable with digital record keeping, ensuring our high standards of care are always documented. Collaborative Support: Working hand-in-hand with our social work team to ensure every child’s care plan is supported with precision and heart. Your Experience and Qualifications Essential: The Logistics: A full UK Driving Licence and access to your own clean, reliable car. You must be comfortable driving children and undertaking distance travel when required. Tech Savvy: You’re a confident user of Microsoft Office and digital platforms, with the patience to help others learn. The Personality: You’ve a great sense of humour and a resilient, proactive approach. You’re highly organised and can manage changing priorities with a calm head. Vetting: A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and comprehensive background vetting. Desirable: Lived Experience: We value both professional and personal care experience. Your Package and Perks Salary: £24,500 to £32,000 per annum (pro rata). Hours: 19 per week (Fridays are a core day, with occasional evenings/weekends balanced by TOIL).
