Overview
The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) is delivering the new HMP Highland, a purpose-built, 200-space prison on the outskirts of Inverness, designed to operate safely, securely, and sustainably. This state-of-the-art facility will provide a modern environment for both staff and those in custody. SPS is seeking an experienced Commissioning Consultant to ensure that all building and specialist services are fully completed, compliant, and ready for operational handover as the project progresses through the construction phase.
This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering one of Scotland’s most significant new correctional facilities. The Commissioning Consultant will directly influence the smooth transition from construction to operation, working closely with the SPS Project Team and contractors to ensure HMP Highland opens successfully.
