We are actively recruiting for a highly motivated and dedicated Receptionist/Administration Clerk in our busy, vibrant department.
You will be a valuable member of the small admin team, assisting with the smooth running of the department. You will be responsible for covering all reception duties and ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately and in a timely, efficient manner.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who can work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and work well within a busy and demanding environment.
You should have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the public and staff at various levels, both face-to-face and over the phone. As the first point of contact for the department, you will need to uphold the Trust's values to maintain high standards.
This is a Fixed Term/Secondment role until 19th December 2025.
1. Provide a reception service for patients attending appointments, working closely with clinical staff from several health service providers.
2. Operate a computerized appointment system to book and reschedule patient appointments.
3. Liaise with medical secretaries, clinical staff, and medical records departments to ensure the efficient operation of clinics.
4. Maintain an efficient appointment booking system.
