We are seeking a committed and experienced Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist to join the Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health (EWMH) Care Group in the Cardiff region. This role offers a diverse mix of clinical, teaching, research, and leadership responsibilities within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver psychiatric assessments, interventions, and pharmacological treatments.
* Provide input across the Crisis Pathway (Crisis Team, IHTT, CITT).
* Participate in the Regional Out of Hours Psychiatry Rota (currently 1 in 15).
* Offer emergency psychiatric support to the Eating Disorder Team (Mondays and Thursdays).
* Collaborate with Paediatric, Adult Mental Health, and Medical colleagues.
* Supervise and mentor junior medical staff.
* Engage in clinical audit and contribute to service development.
Teaching & Education:
* Teach medical students and multidisciplinary staff.
* Participate in postgraduate education and CPD sessions.
* Attend monthly psychiatry and directorate-wide training events.
Research & Development:
* Opportunities for personal clinical research.
* Strong academic links with Cardiff University School of Medicine.
Management & Leadership:
* Work with local management to ensure efficient service delivery.
* Contribute to strategic planning and policy implementation.
* Support workforce development and service improvement initiatives.
Administrative Duties:
* Maintain high standards in documentation, infection control, and data protection.
* Attend departmental meetings and contribute to clinical governance.
