Responsibilities
IT Strategy & Leadership
1. Develop and implement aprehensive IT strategy aligned with thepany's business goals.
2. Lead and mentor a high-performing IT team across multiple locations.
3. Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and security.
Infrastructure & Security Management
4. Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, networks, trading and cloud environments.
5. Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place, including threat detection, data protection, andpliance with financial regulations.
6. Manage business continuity and disaster recovery plans to safeguard IT operations.
Production Support
7. Lead the IT helpdesk team in delivering efficient technical support across the organisation.
8. Improve system performance, uptime, and reliability, ensuring seamless operations.
9. Collaborate with different business units to identify and resolve IT challenges.
pliance & Risk Management
10. Ensure IT operationsply with regulatory requirements in the financial sector, including FCA, GDPR, and ISO standards.
11. Identify and mitigate IT risks, ensuring data security and privacy.
Project Management & Innovation
12. Oversee IT projects such as system migrations, software rollouts, and infrastructure upgrades
13. Work closely with stakeholders to optimise trading platforms, CRM systems, and cloud solutions.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
14. Proven experience (5+ years) in IT leadership roles, preferably within the FX & CFD financial sector.
15. Strong understanding of IT security and trading and risk management in a regulated environment.
16. Expertise in cloud-based infrastructures, security, trading, networking, MetaTrader and IT architecture.
17. Expertise in Design, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable MetaTrader server infrastructure (MT4/MT5).
18. Strong experience in Managing and optimizing server performance, dealing desk plugins, symbols, and routing configurations.
19. Hands-on experience managing Windows, Microsoft365, Active Directory, MetaTrader and networking protocols.
20. Experience leading IT service management (ITSM) and ITernance frameworks (, ITIL, COBIT).
21. Strong vendor management experience for IT procurement and third-party integrations.
