Welcome to tmp.
We're not just an agency; we're the trendsetters in the integrated era of B2B, armed with a global team of 300+ B2B specialists ready to unlock your potential. Our clients include the biggest names in the tech universe. We're talking partnerships with the trailblazers and the disruptors - working with them across the entire funnel to achieve the kind of growth that turns heads and wins awards. We thrive on identifying, recruiting, and nurturing talents and you're next on our list!
What we are looking for:
We’re looking for an Art Director to join our creative team and raise the bar for our visual ideas.
That person will be a solid all-rounder who is fascinated by ideas, can tell visual stories, and articulate them clearly and enthusiastically. You’ll be able to originate a concept, express it elegantly and establish design frameworks that can be followed by more junior members of the team.
We want someone who can get the best out of a creative brief and think beyond traditional B2B assets; someone who will deliver excellent work, consistently and to deadline. You own projects end-to-end, build client relationships and inspire the team, working with passion, flair and intuition. You don’t wait to be asked - you shape the direction, drive the work, and bring others with you.
The tmp Creative team is made up of artworkers, designers, and writers with lots of different but complementary skills and experience. Every voice is valid, we review and critique one another’s work, and everyone is encouraged to share their ideas. Because we believe that great ideas can (and should) come from anyone in our team, and this is a very important part of the role.
Don’t worry if there are a few things you haven’t tried yet, no-one joins tmp fully formed - we're always learning, because every client challenge is different.
What you will do:
1. You will work day-to-day, side-by-side with a multidisciplinary team (ACDs, CDs, designers, strategists, media specialists).
2. Lead creative projects from ideation to execution. Hold client relationships from a creative standpoint - presenting work, leading conversations, and offering creative input.
3. Be able to distil (sometimes very) complex information into simple benefits.
4. Craft bold, original concepts — and deliver them across a range of B2B communications; from brand awareness campaigns to account-based marketing.
5. Own your ideas and advocate for them, with a willingness to flex as required
6. Generate ideas that:
7. Are surprising and differentiating while still being relevant for the target audience
8. Express the client proposition
9. Are easy to understand and simply expressed
10. Interact thoughtfully and playfully with copy
11. Provide art direction that:
12. Uses wit, intelligence and lateral thinking
13. Takes complex business offerings and translates them into feelings
14. Is distinctive, inviting and easy to understand
15. Is appropriate to the audience, the medium and conforms to brand requirements
16. Is considered, consistent and free from errors
17. You may occasionally be asked to support with quality-checking the work of your design peers.
Requirements
Who you are:
18. You’re interested in technology, the role it plays in everyday life and you have an opinion on AI
19. You appreciate the importance of processes and systems and will understand that sometimes we must bend the process to meet the needs of the work and our people
20. You’ll see the bigger picture and want to use your talent to build with creativity, not just deliver on what’s in front of you.
21. You’re a team player and see collaboration as a superpower
What you'll bring:
22. 7+ years’ experience in a design-based creative role (Agency experience preferred but not essential)
23. A portfolio of work that shows your thinking and craft (which we will treat with discretion).
24. An eye for detail - you set high standards for your work and expect the same of others.
25. Experience of working in B2B marketing is great, but B2C works too.
26. A collaborative spirit and the confidence to own the room - with colleagues and clients alike.
27. The ability to simplify the complex and make it impactful.
28. Comfort switching between campaign thinking and day-to-day content - and doing both well.
29. A keen sense of how creativity shows up across different platforms - and what makes ideas stick.
30. In-depth experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Benefits
31. Generous holiday allowance (Plentiful PTO)
32. Shutdown between Christmas and New Year
33. Private healthcare and dental insurance
34. Group income protection
35. Salary sacrifice pension scheme
36. Access to well-being coaching or counselling sessions once a week
37. Financial health support
38. Parental leave - 12 Weeks Full Pay for Primary Carers and an additional 50% pay for 12 more weeks.
39. Use our portal to access discounts and cashback at plenty of retailers. You can also sign up for our cycle-to-work scheme.
40. Sustainable Future Giving. We want to help create a positive impact on our planet by donating to plant trees, tacking our impact, and helping to reduce emissions.
A note on applying
Not sure you tick every box? Apply anyway. Research shows some people hold back unless they meet 100% of the requirements. We do not want that to be you.
At tmp, we hire for potential, mindset, and character as much as experience. If you are excited about the role but your background is not a perfect match, we would still love to hear from you. You might be exactly what we are looking for, either for this role or another.
We are committed to building a diverse team because diversity fuels creativity and better results for everyone. We encourage applications from all backgrounds. If you need any accommodations during the process, just let us know.
