The Role: As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you’ll play a vital role in promoting the wellbeing and safety of adults across Worcestershire. You’ll be responsible for making decisions on whether the S42(1) Care Act 2014 criteria are met, undertaking low-risk safeguarding enquiries, and supporting individuals to manage risks through strength-based approaches. You’ll also support colleagues, contribute to reflective practice, and work collaboratively with professionals across health, social care, and community services. This is a role where your expertise and autonomy will be valued. What We're Looking For: We’re seeking an experienced and confident social worker who brings: Significant experience in adult social care and safeguarding Strong knowledge of legislation, safeguarding principles, and strength-based practice Excellent communication, partnership working, and conflict resolution skills A professional qualification in social work and current Social Work England registration About the Team You’ll be part of a dedicated safeguarding team within Adult Social Care, working closely with the Safeguarding Early Response Manager and other safeguarding professionals.
