Job Title: Design Technology Technician

The Education Network is currently recruiting for a skilled and enthusiastic Design Technology (DT) Technician to join a supportive and thriving Secondary School in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual with a passion for supporting practical learning in Design Technology.
Role Responsibilities
* Preparing, setting up, and maintaining tools, machinery, and equipment for DT lessons.
* Ensuring a safe working environment by carrying out routine maintenance and safety checks.
* Supporting teaching staff with practical demonstrations and lesson preparation.
* Ordering and managing stock, resources, and materials for the department.
* Assisting students with the safe and correct use of equipment during practical sessions.
* Promoting health and safety standards across the workshop and classrooms.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a DT Technician or in a similar workshop/technical support role (school or industry).
* Knowledge of safe use and maintenance of DT tools and machinery.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with staff and students.
* An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

Salary: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
