Vertu Mazda Sheffield We’re looking for an experienced Sales Manager to step into a General Sales Manager role at our Vertu Mazda Sheffield dealership — a great location with strong customer demand and an established, supportive team. This role would suit someone currently working as a New or Used Car Sales Manager, or an established General Sales Manager ready to take the next step and take ownership of a stable, growing sales operation. You’ll be leading a team of 4 Sales Executives and a Business Manager, with the autonomy to shape performance, culture and customer experience. We offer a competitive basic salary of £45,000 with an OTE of £65,000, a company car, and a full range of benefits. About the role As General Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading a structured, ethical and customer‑focused sales operation. You’ll support your team through clear processes, regular coaching and hands‑on leadership, while staying closely connected to the customer journey yourself. Your focus will be on: Creating a supportive, inclusive environment where people can do their best work Leading the sale of new and used Mazda vehicles, alongside finance and value‑added products Managing sales campaigns and promotions in line with brand and compliance standards Balancing performance, profitability and customer satisfaction in a sustainable way About you We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with a strong track record in the motor industry. You will need to show your ability to improve sales performance, profitability and overall efficiency. Strong leadership and people‑support skills are essential, as your main responsibility is to help your team achieve their goals. You’ll likely bring: Proven experience leading a sales team in a dealership environment (new or used) A track record of improving sales performance, profitability or operational efficiency A collaborative, motivational leadership style with a passion for people and performance. Strong commercial acumen with a commitment to ethical, customer‑focused practice. Values‑driven, with integrity, resilience, and the ability to set clear goals for yourself and your team.
