We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Music Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Redcar from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative educator to make a real impact, nurturing students' musical abilities and encouraging a lifelong passion for music.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute at Key Stage 5. You will inspire students through practical and theoretical lessons, and play a key part in shaping a vibrant musical culture within the school.
You will also support extracurricular activities, including school concerts, music clubs, and events, helping students grow in confidence and creativity beyond the classroom.

Essential:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a degree in Music or a related field
* Strong instrumental and/or vocal skills
* Confidence in planning and delivering engaging lessons
* Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
* A positive attitude and a commitment to student development
Desirable:
* Experience running or supporting school performances, ensembles, or music productions
* Familiarity with music technology and composition tools
* Ability to differentiate teaching to suit diverse learner needs
* A supportive and collaborative working environment
* A school community that values creativity and the arts
* Well-equipped music facilities and resources
