Overview
Data Centre Project Manager / Service readiness Manager role at Cashiwin.com. Radius is seeking an experienced Data Centre Project Manager / Readiness Service Implementation Manager with extensive experience in a Datacentre environment, whether from a Datacentre or MSP. This role focuses on day-to-day management of tasks relating to the successful and timely service delivery of Co-Lo and PWR activities, managing the delivery of all work orders and footprint activities to meet customer expectations and SLAs, and enhancing the overall customer experience by aligning with Operational Excellence objectives for the ensuing year.
Fundamentally, the role aims to set high standards and manage contractors and suppliers to agreed KPIs, adopting a best-in-class approach and driving the organisation towards a 5 Star datacentre. It also involves working closely with the Service Installation Supervisor to mentor the Specialist role, ensuring Specialist Services are delivered to the front line and enabling the SDM CoLo Installations to meet KPI and RFS objectives.
Responsibilities
* Project Management: Identify and manage resources for planning, development, and delivery of specified services, primarily rack and cage installations, with secondary support to the PWR team. Engage with and influence senior stakeholders and project teams through change management to ensure service levels and data integrity.
* Requirements Definition and Management: Plan and drive scoping and prioritisation of activities for large, complex initiatives within the Service Delivery space, primarily rack and cage, with secondary support to the power team. Gather input and formal agreement from Sales, Engineering, Delivery, Security, and other stakeholders.
* Commercial Support: Provide RFP/RFI responses from the Colocations Installations Team in collaboration with the Service Delivery Team and Supervisor for winning new business.
* Service Acceptance: Work with Sales, Planning, Admin, Engineering, DC Ops or PMO to ensure sold products are deliverable and supportable going forward.
* Contractor and Supplier Management: Manage contractors and third-party services; ensure performance against KPIs and quality standards.
* Technical and Operational Knowledge: Maintain solid understanding of DC Operations and the components of a live Production DC Hall; understand Shared/Dedicated Installations in a Data Centre environment; possess expertise in at least two disciplines (Electrical, Optical, Connectivity, Colocation, Health & Safety, Project Management, raised floor, Fire Alarm and suppression systems, Access control).
Qualifications
* Experience in data centre project management or readiness/service implementation within a datacentre or MSP environment.
* Strong stakeholder engagement, change management, and ability to influence senior project teams.
* Proven ability to manage multiple contractors and suppliers to agreed KPIs and SLAs.
* Solid knowledge of DC operations and the components of a live datacentre hall; experience with rack and cage installations and related services.
* At least two technical disciplines among Electrical, Optical, Connectivity, Colocation, Health & Safety, Project Management, raised floor, Fire Alarm and suppression systems, Access control.
