Childrens Home Support Worker Location: Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey Salary: £ [12-14.5 hourly rate] Contract: Full-time / Part-time (shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins) We are seeking caring and resilient Support Workers to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality care for children and young people within a residential setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day support, care, and guidance to children and young people. Promote independence, life skills, and positive outcomes. Support young people with education, activities, and personal development. Safeguard the welfare of children at all times. Work as part of a team to create a safe, nurturing, and homely environment. Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning. Requirements: Previous experience in a residential, care, or support role (desirable but not essential full training provided). NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce (or willingness to work towards). Understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Compassionate, reliable, and committed to making a difference. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
