Hotel Indigo Gloucester is set to open in 2025, offering a free-spirited experience for our guests enriched with local culture. Nestled in the heart of the neighbourhood and built on the site of the White Priory, we embrace the concept of storytelling-by-design. Artefacts rescued from the site are now showcased in the Gloucester Museum, linking our hotel to this city’s multi-layered history. As Gloucester thrives with its diverse industries and culture, Hotel Indigo will become a vibrant part of the city’s evolving narrative.
As a Head of Rooms Division Manager, your day-to-day will be driven by our Guests needs, however you can expect to cover the following duties and responsibilities (not all encompassing) …
* Reporting into our GM and working closely with them, leading the Front Office and Housekeeping teams with a strong focus on excellent customer service.
* Ensure daily hotel operations deliver high levels of guest service, meeting and exceeding strategic goals.
* Ensure smooth and efficient Room Division operations, aligned with guest expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Be accountable for the overall performance of the teams, including guest experience, workforce planning (rostering), and departmental profit delivery.
* Act as an active member of the Hotel Management Team, contributing to the success of the hotel.

* To have managed one or more hotel departments for in a similar environment
* Proven track record with success at training and implementation of process and audit
* Thorough knowledge of statutory regulations ensuring the business is always operated within the law
