About the Role
The Digital Marketing team is responsible for new customer acquisition and early retention across all channels. As a Digital Marketing Manager you will develop and execute paid media acquisition campaigns, manage multi‑million pound annual budgets, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align campaigns with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead paid media strategy: launch, monitor, and optimise campaigns across channels to improve KPIs including ROAS, MOAS, FOV, FYV, and CPA.
* Identify and test new publishers/platforms to reach additional audiences and drive incremental growth.
* Develop channel testing frameworks and partner with the Econometrician, MarTech, and Insights teams to drive the test‑and‑learn agenda.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports on creative and performance metrics, working with Insights and Econometric teams to analyse results.
* Manage creative assets, collaborating with Digital Campaign and in‑house creative teams for partnership ad delivery.
* Understand Ocado’s customer segments and develop acquisition strategies to grow priority groups.
* Support wider Digital Marketing operations, including purchase order creation and invoicing.
Qualifications
* Proven experience managing and optimising significant budgets across Paid Media channels; agency or in‑house experience acceptable.
* Strong understanding of trading KPIs such as CPA, ROAS, CPC, CTR, CPM, conversion rate and margin.
* Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build productive relationships across the organisation.
* Curious and eager to learn, keeping up‑to‑date with industry trends.
* Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
