CT20 Projects is recruiting new Board Members to grow our Oversight & Advisory Board, to help steer our governance strategy and to support CT20 & its Executive team in the successful delivery our missions and our activities.

We would like to innovate new cultures and aesthetics that drives social change so that people from all backgrounds can access arts & cultures, and be creative. We want to remove barriers to access to great cultures so that people at the margins of society can be empowered and inspired by the art t& cultural content hat we produce. As part of our Oversight & Advisory Board, you will Help Oversee the mission of the organisation, provide governance & insight; Help to help steer our governance strategy and to support CT20 and its Executive team in the successful delivery our missions and our activity; Ensure CT20 will be a well-run arts organisation accountable to our funders & stakeholders; Help us to become a leader in our sector that drives diversity & creative empowerment, so that our content can reach more people (especially non-art users) and inspire changes in attitudes and cultures; Meet with CT20's Oversight Board & executive team 4 times a year (ie. once every 3 months); Be an advocate & ambassador to the organisation, including attending Private Views and other functions. The role is voluntary and unpaid but reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. The board/oversight group is refreshed on a regular basis. The positions are held for a period of a minimum of 1 year and up to 3-year terms.
What are we looking for?
We would love to attract both experienced candidates who are familiar with the Arts Council England’s governance requirements with a good knowledge of its Let’s Create policies, or have experiences of being on the board of a National Portfolio Organisation would be ideal. BUT we also seek passionate, engaged and willing-to-learn people who may be at the start of their creative careers and would benefit from find out just how the arts and creative industries work – from the inside. * A representative of communities & their voices

* People with NPO or knowledge of the UK funding landscapes
What will you be doing?
Join the board of CT20 the dynamic visual arts organisation and one of the leading voices in the South-east arts world championing diversity & innovations in the arts – come and help shape our future! CT20 Projects CIC is an Arts Council England's National Portfolio Organisation and a female-led, neurodiverse and PoC-led non-profit arts organisation based in Folkestone (the South-east coast of England). We deliver high-impact cultural & heritage activities to empower those living at the margins of society. Arts Council England funded, visit www.ct-20.org for our exciting programme and projects. We are recruiting voluntary non-executive board members and a potential co-chair to help convene and steer our Oversight & Advisory board members at our quarterly board meetings. As a board member, you will gain an insight to how the arts and cultural industries in the UK work. We are looking for people from all backgrounds who are passionate about the arts and its potential to change people’s lives to join our board.
