What You’ll Do
* Support young people with daily routines: getting ready for school, meal preparation, and planning activities.
* Create a warm, homely environment by assisting with light housekeeping.
* Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
* Plan and join activities such as trips to the park, movie nights, and creative projects.
* Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.
Where You’ll Do It
Our home is a two-bed children’s home for young people with learning disabilities (LD) and emotional/behavioral difficulties (EBD). The setting is designed to feel like a home and provides therapeutic supports and supervision to staff. The home currently supports one young person working towards semi-independence with access to in-house clinical services and a visiting mentor for life skills and activities.
The team meets regularly for group and individual supervision to ensure high standards of care and support for the young people.
