About the Client:
Interaction Technical has partnered with a rapidly expanding, innovative organization based in Bedfordshire to support the growth of their engineering team. Due to continuous growth, we are seeking a skilled electromechanical engineer interested in learning, developing, and progressing within the Compact Plant industry.

Key Responsibilities:
8. Attend breakdowns, service, and PPMs on various industrial-scale compactor systems within the waste management industry
9. Use manual hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers), electrical hand tools (powered drills, grinders), lifting equipment (slings, hoists), and hot working tools (blowtorch, heat guns)
10. Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical fault finding alongside elements of hydraulic systems
11. Manage time effectively to ensure work is carried out to a high standard in a timely manner
12. Update job reports and order parts when necessary
13. Ensure health & safety procedures are followed
Requirements:
14. Experience in electrical, electronic, and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and service
15. Previous experience with MIG/TIG welding is advantageous but not essential
16. Good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge; similar roles could include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, mechanical fitter, forklift engineer
17. Experience using electrical and mechanical tools
18. Previous experience as a mechanical, electrical, or field-based engineer, with knowledge of hydraulic systems/hoses, mechanical fault finding & repair, and basic electrical work
19. Full UK driver's license
