About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Head of Business / General Manager to take full responsibility for our dealership operation in Exeter. This is a pivotal leadership role, accountable for driving growth, profitability, and customer experience across all areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Full P&L accountability for the dealership, with responsibility for delivering sustainable profit and growth.
* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of department managers to consistently achieve targets.
* Ensure exceptional customer service and retention across sales and aftersales functions.
* Set and execute strategic business plans to improve performance and efficiency.
* Build strong relationships with manufacturer partners and key stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with all brand standards, group policies, and regulatory requirements.
* Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing team that reflects the company’s values and culture.
About You
* Proven track record as a Head of Business, Dealer Principal, General Manager, or in a senior leadership role within the automotive retail sector.
* Commercially astute with strong financial and operational management skills.
* Inspirational leader with the ability to engage and motivate teams to deliver results.
* Customer-focused with a passion for delivering excellence in service and standards.
