Salary: £24,500 - £27,500 depending on experience, plus up to 15% annual performance bonus

Role Overview
We're looking for an Operations Assistant to join our growing Events team at a leading UK ski travel business. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional in early-stage events to advance their career in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
You will be mentored and work closely alongside the existing events team, reporting into our Events Team Manager, and assist with the curation, planning, sales, and delivery of group holiday events and nightlife programmes across multiple brands.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, tech-savvy, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Role and Responsibilities
This role will focus on system administration, supplier communications and collaboration with the groups department to produce and deliver our events programme. You'll also be mentored and work collaboratively with the existing events team, giving you hands-on training and exposure to the full events planning and delivery cycle.
* Assisting with the curation of event schedules alongside the relevant groups department.
* Supporting the forecasting of the financial performance and tracking of event activations, utilising multiple commercial models.
* Planning, booking, advancing and briefing of event activations to delivery leads.
* Collation and analysis of event activation feedback throughout the season (passenger and staff feedback).
* System administration, including event sales platform and event accreditation systems.
* Time overseas in our ski resort(s), assisting in event delivery alongside existing event managers. 1-2 weeks per winter season.
* Advancement of third parties and talent involved in events
Skills & Attributes
Essential
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with an exemplary level of attention to detail
* Experience in working as a team
* Experience in delivering projects/events to a tight deadline
* To be confident in handling relations with artists, venues, and suppliers.
* Good customer service skills and experience in handling customer service at an event
* Affinity for working with people and establishing strong connections and relationships.
* Technically proficient, solid understanding of Excel and/or Google Sheets
* Strong mathematical skills and financial understanding
* Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Desirable
* Events crew experience
* Event planning experience
* Technical production understanding or knowledge, experience interpreting Artist Technical Riders
* Experience with venue or artist liaison, including Talent Advancing
* Knowledge and passion for Snowsports, and operating events in ski resorts
* French speaker
Working hours
Your main contracted hours will be 37.5 hours per week, based in our South Manchester office. Working hours may vary depending on the company's requirements, such as working abroad as part of the delivery team.
