Overview:
Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk General is hiring for a Flexi Student CVT position.
Position Description:
This position is responsible for utilizing specialized equipment and performing procedures on patients under the supervision of a qualified physician. The Cardiovascular Tech Student acts as a first assistant during diagnostic and therapeutic vascular procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have completed sufficient clinical hours in an accredited cardiovascular technology program to count employed hours toward graduation requirements.

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads. It also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
In addition to our high-quality heart program at Sentara Heart Hospital, our facility hosts Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance and other specialized services. As a recognized accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and Magnet hospital for nursing excellence, we specialize in heart and vascular, neurosciences, neurosurgery, urology, oncology, spine care, advanced imaging, behavioral health, maternity, and women's health, including a state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit.
