Job Description
1. Provide legal counsel on matters related to registered funds, ensuring compliance with the 33 Act and 40 Act.
2. Draft and review legal documents, including fund registration statements and prospectuses.
3. Advise on regulatory filings and corporate governance matters.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
5. Monitor and interpret changes in securities laws and regulations impacting registered funds.
6. Support fund-related transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.
7. Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on legal and compliance matters.
8. Manage relationships with external counsel and regulatory agencies as needed.
