Project Coordinator
Due to company growth, we are currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator to join a leading engineering company based in Romsey.
Introduction
The Project Coordinator will join the Engineering Team and be responsible for the coordination of projects both technical and commercially. The individual will work on projects throughout the UK & Europe including their Global OEM business.
The Project Coordinator will schedule and resource all activities involved in the project work cycle, assuring project accuracy and quality to completion. To liaise with clients and co-ordinate with the company’s sales, and production teams to optimise the company’s product portfolio and manufacturing expertise.
Responsibilities
* Preparing tenders, proposals and quotations from BOM’s packages when required
* Raise orders, create bills of material, manage transport during the project cycle
* Facilitate clear and consistent communication between team members, stakeholders, and clients
* Track progress, and ensure deadlines are met
* Identify and resolve project issues, bottlenecks, and conflicts
* Liaising with BIM manager, throughout various project stages
* Support production and offsite fabrication departments with planning and coordination
* Communicate offsite fabrication and modularisation across all CPV product ranges
* Attend meetings with clients where required via Teams
* Support in all phases of the project and respond to all matters that may affect the client’s objective
* Provide administrative support, such as scheduling meetings,
Ideal Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a mechanical engineering aptitude, together with commercial and customer focused awareness, preferably having experience within a comparable project support or technically biased sales role.
Desirable Experience
* Knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc. would be advantageous
* MS Office skills
* Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
* Decision making ability
* Time management and organisation skills
* Possess strong communication skills and can consistently offer an excellent standard of customer care
* Knowledge of ERP/CRM packages would be advantageous
Salary/Hours/Benefits
*
Up to £35K
*
8.00 - 17.00 Monday to Thursday, 13.00 finish on Fridays
*
Bonuses paid out 1-2 times per year (based on company performance)
