A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a Traveller Site Housing Policy & Strategy Manager to join the housing department at one of Adecco's most improved local authority clients in a long term interim role (potentially up to 12 months). Based near to Heathrow Airport in West London, this is a full time role (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and will report directly into our client's Housing Strategy and Inclusion Manager. Office attendance is hybrid (maximum 1 day a week). In this role you will be required to undertake project work and operational management tasks associated with the Boroughs traveller site provision at two sites. With respect to one individual site this will involve contract managing the provider responsible for that site. With respect to the second site, this will involve the management of in house and external resources to establish a clear pathway for the site. In addition, you will be required to initiate and undertake work to ensure that the Borough is complying with its statutory responsibilities with respect to both sites, and produce a traveller site strategy to ensure the longer-term management stability of both sites.
