Job Title: KS1 Class Teacher (MPS)
Salary: £34,514.00 - £46,001.00 per annum Main Pay Scale (MPS)

About the Role: ...
Inspire young minds and foster a positive learning environment as a dedicated KS1 Class Teacher. Reporting to the Headteacher and Governing Body, you'll be responsible for the education and welfare of your class, aligning with the National Curriculum and school policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan a broad, balanced, and stimulating curriculum in collaboration with subject and phase leaders.
2. Tailor learning experiences to individual needs for maximum achievement.
3. Provide appropriate educational support for children with SEN or EAL, guided by the SENDCo.
4. Create a secure, happy, and stimulating classroom environment with high organisational and discipline standards.
5. Ensure accessible and well-cared-for resources, encouraging children's responsibility for their learning.
6. Collaborate with colleagues on planning and implementing agreed schemes of work.
7. Assess children's progress, maintain records, and provide reports to parents in line with school policies.
8. Communicate and consult with parents, carers, and outside agencies about children's progress.
9. Promote the school's aims and objectives regarding the curriculum, equal opportunities, and discipline in daily classroom practices.
10. Liaise with support staff from both school-based and external bodies.
11. Engage in continuous professional development through self-directed reading, courses, and in-service training.
Requirements:
12. Qualified teacher status (QTS)
13. Evidence of staying current with developments in all national curriculum subjects
14. Demonstrated commitment to continuous INSET and further professional development
15. Experience in the preparation and administration of statutory National Curriculum tests
