Role: Corporate Solicitor
Hours: Full-time, 35 per week
Negotiable, depending on experience
We are currently looking for an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join our busy Corporate & Commercial team. You'll report directly to the Head of Department and be responsible for providing 1st class legal services and assistance to a range of clients. This role is office based in Lake House, Port Solent, hybrid working will be considered.
As a Corporate Solicitor you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing your own diverse caseload. Asset sales and purchases, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating the Business Purchase Agreement and other key documents, and conducting or engaging in the due diligence (depending upon whether you are acting for the buyer or the seller);
Advising in relation to corporate governance matters and company law matters;
Employee share schemes;
They will have sound knowledge and expertise in the field, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to communicate in a friendly, professional and confidential manner. The role will suit those with a positive and flexible approach and an ability to remain calm under pressure in order to project the image and ethos of the firm at all times.
Must hold qualified solicitor status in England and Wales or be a qualified Legal Executive.
