FACILITIES ADMINISTRATOR (25 HOURS)
Salary: £24,499 pro rata up to £26,445 pro rata
We are now seeking an organised, proactive and customer-focused Facilities Administrator to join our busy Facilities team and contribute to delivering a high‑quality service for staff, learners and visitors.As our Facilities Administrator, you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities management service. This varied role requires excellent organisation, strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
You will:
* Process requisition orders and manage the payment of invoices
* Handle phone and email enquiries, manage diaries, arrange meetings and take minutes
* Maintain efficient and accurate electronic records and systems
* Lead on the ordering and procurement of PPE for staff and students
* Support the Health, Safety and Sustainability Advisor by maintaining compliance data sets
* Conduct audits of key services such as Cleaning and Catering
* Contribute to department improvement projects
* Provide flexible administrative support across the team
The successful candidate must have 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) and recent clerical experience. They should be confident using Microsoft Office—especially Word and Excel—and have a practical understanding of Health & Safety. Applicants must be organised, detail‑focused, able to prioritise work under pressure, and strong communicators with good interpersonal skills.
It would be beneficial for candidates to hold a Level 2 administration qualification. Additional experience in data handling, facilities-related tasks, or contributing to improvements in systems and processes would also be an advantage.
