Job Title: NICU Consultant
SHORT DESCRIPTION
An excellent opportunity to join as NICU Consultant for one of the most prestigious and top-tier leading hospitals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
JOB SUMMARY
Highly skilled and dedicated NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) critical care consultant, providing expert care for critically ill newborns, leading the development of specialized neonatal critical care services, and contributing to the hospital's reputation as a center of excellence in neonatal care. Coordinating with a multidisciplinary team and ensuring high standards of care.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide high-quality neonatology care to patients.
* Offer consultative services as requested.
* Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
* Participate in training and teaching of residents and fellows, and engage in research activities.
* Participate in committees and administrative functions as needed.
* Perform special procedures as privileged.
* Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
* Graduate from a reputable medical school.
* Completion of neonatology training.
* Saudi Arab, American, European Board Certification, or equivalent.
* Membership and/or Fellowship in America or Europe, fulfilling consultant criteria.
* Saudi Commission recognized certificate is mandatory.
* Dataflow certification is required.
Professional Experience
* Minimum 3-4 years post-Board/Fellowship experience in NICU.
* Registered member of the Saudi Board Council.
Language Skills
* Proficiency in English; Arabic skills may be beneficial.
References
* Positive professional references attesting to skills and ethical conduct.
