Responsibilities
* Produce, repair, and refurbish tools and fixtures in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
* Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise production downtime.
* Run diagnostics and fault find issues.
* Modify existing tooling to improve performance.
* Operate a range of machinery, including injection moulding, blow moulding and rotational moulding.
* Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, gauges, CMM tools) to verify dimensional accuracy.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised toolroom environment.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience as a Toolmaker or similar precision engineering role.
* Strong understanding of machining principles and toolroom practices.
* Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Competence with a wide variety of machinery.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills with a proactive, self‑sufficient approach, especially when working alone on night shifts.
