We’re looking for a dedicated professional to join our Voids team in Tower Hamlets, delivering high-quality maintenance and refurbishment work across a variety of empty residential properties.Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out a wide range of joinery tasks in empty homes, including door hanging, skirting, architraves, kitchen and bathroom installations.
* Undertake general maintenance and repair works including minor plumbing, plaster patching, and tiling to bring properties up to a lettable standard.
* Ensure all works are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.
* Work closely with the Voids team to meet tight deadlines and turnaround times.
* Liaise professionally with supervisors, contractors, and colleagues to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Carpentry/Joinery (or relevant experience).
* Proven experience in multi-trade maintenance and refurbishment work on empty properties or voids within social housing or local authority contracts.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
