About Rushcliffe Care Group

You will be joining Rushcliffe Care, a company with over 35 years of experience in offering the highest levels of care to our most vulnerable in society. Across our services, we support people to live safer, more fulfilling lives, with dignity, choice, and consistency at the centre of everything we do.

Our work is guided by clear values. These are not slogans. They shape how we treat people, how we work together, and what we expect from each other.

About The Role

As a Hospital Administrator, your role is to provide an efficient, organised, and professional administrative service that supports the safe day-to-day running of the hospital.

You will often be the first point of contact for visitors, professionals, and colleagues. This means handling enquiries, managing calls, maintaining records, supporting meetings, and assisting managers with documentation and reporting. Your work helps ensure information is accurate, confidential, and available when it is needed.

You will work closely with the Hospital Manager and wider multidisciplinary team, balancing planned tasks with changing priorities, while maintaining a calm and professional approach at all times.

About You

You are organised, reliable, and comfortable working in a busy office environment. You understand the importance of confidentiality and accuracy, particularly within a healthcare setting.

You communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, and you are confident using IT systems such as Microsoft Office. You are willing to ask questions, raise concerns, and adapt when priorities change.

Previous administrative experience is important, but equally important is your approach. You take responsibility seriously, work well with others, and understand how your role supports safe care for service users.

What Our Values Mean In Practice

Reputable Care

* Maintaining accurate records and documentation at all times.
* Following procedures correctly, even when the workload is busy.
* Handling information responsibly to protect service users and the organisation.

Respect and Compassion

* Greeting visitors and colleagues professionally and courteously.
* Respecting confidentiality and personal information at all times.
* Supporting others with patience and understanding, particularly in sensitive situations.

Robust Communication

* Passing on messages clearly and promptly.
* Keeping managers informed of issues or risks.
* Recording information accurately so nothing important is missed.

Real Commitment

* Being reliable, punctual, and prepared for your shifts.
* Supporting colleagues when pressures increase.
* Taking pride in your role and contributing positively to the team.

About The Service

The hospital has four wards, each designed to provide a safe and therapeutic environment. The multidisciplinary team includes nursing, psychiatry, psychology, occupational therapy, and social work, working together to deliver person-centred, recovery-focused care.

What We Offer

We provide a structured induction and ongoing support so you feel confident in your role. You will receive clear guidance, regular supervision, and opportunities to develop your skills within a supportive management team.

We value consistency and long-term commitment and actively support staff who want to grow and develop within the organisation.

All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check, the cost of which is covered by Rushcliffe Care.

Equal Opportunities Statement

Rushcliffe Care Group is committed to being an equal opportunities employer. We encourage applications from all sections of the community, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership status, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation. Employment decisions are based on individual merit, qualifications, and the needs of the service. Some roles may have specific requirements, such as effective communication in English or physical ability, due to the nature of the service. These requirements are applied fairly and proportionately to ensure the safety and well-being of our service users. If you require any reasonable adjustments to the recruitment process, please let us know so we can support you.
