Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of Responsible Individual for some of our Children’s Homes. This is a full-time, on-site role working across Beds, Milton Keynes and Hertfordshire. In this role, you will oversee the operations of children’s homes, ensuring compliance with regulations, providing strategic leadership, and supporting the staff in offering high-quality care to children. You will liaise with regulatory bodies, monitor outcomes to ensure the well-being of children, and continually assess and improve the standard of care provided. Your work will be instrumental in promoting best practices and ensuring the children’s homes meet organisational and statutory requirements.
Qualifications
* Experience with regulatory compliance, safeguarding, and managing residential care for children
* Skills in leadership, team management, and providing supervision to staff
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is required
* Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships
* A valid driving license is essential
