Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated mini Golf Attendant to support the maintenance and presentation of our golf course.
Weekends and school holidays from March-December. 9-6 pm variable hours during busy times in summer
The successful candidate will assist in ensuring the course remains in excellent condition, providing a welcoming environment for players. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and general groundskeeping within a professional setting. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about outdoor work, with gardening /ground man experience. and mini golf course aesthetics.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the upkeep of the golf course, including mowing, watering, and fertilising greens and fairways.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment to maintain the landscape effectively.
* Support with planting, pruning, and general gardening tasks to promote healthy turf and plant growth.
* Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
* Assist with setting up and maintaining course amenities. manning the golf hut. Selling the balls and putters .
* opening and closing up
* Maintainance of the hut/ hedge cutting and woodwork on the corse
Skills
* Experience with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems used in groundskeeping.
* Growing experience or knowledge of plant care and turf management is advantageous.
* Ability to operate gardening equipment safely and efficiently.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining course quality standards.
* Physical fitness to perform outdoor tasks over extended periods and lift equipment or materials as needed.
