Your new roleAs a Quality Engineer, you will support the Manufacturing Quality Manager and work closely with production teams to enhance operational performance and ensure consistent product quality. You will play a key role in developing quality standards, driving continuous improvement and supporting problem‑solving activities across the manufacturing and assembly processes.Mon - Thurs 7am - and Fri until
What you’ll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have:
1. A degree in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 1 year’s quality or engineering experience; or an HNC/HND with 2+ years’ relevant experience; or 3+ years’ experience in a Quality Engineering or engineering role.
2. Experience using continuous improvement and problem‑solving tools (3C, 8D, A3, PFMEA, APQP, process mapping).
3. Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and standards.
4. Excellentmunication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
6. A logical, detail‑focused approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
7. Ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Desirable:
8. 3+ years’ experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
9. Experience in modular manufacturing or construction.
10. Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
