After-School Club Lead – St George’s CofE Primary School
Contract Term: Part Time, Permanent. Grade: SC Level 3 – SCP 6 - 9. Starting Salary £8,870 per annum (FTE £25,989). Hours: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3pm – 6pm. Term Time only - 38 weeks per annum. Closing Date: 9am on Friday 21st November. Interview Date: Wednesday 26th November. Required: As soon as possible.

Responsibilities
* Supervise an after-school club for pupils within the school.
* Develop and grow a safe and enriched environment where children can creatively play after the school day.
* Lead a small team and work with school staff to provide a nourishing environment for pupils.
* Maintain a positive and caring approach and an appreciation of the differing needs and abilities of primary age children.
Qualifications
* Experience of working with children in an education setting and confident supervising a small team.
* Paediatric first aid qualification is desirable (or a willingness to undertake one).
* If you do not hold a Level 2 qualification in play work or childcare, there may be support to gain this qualification.
* Understanding of safeguarding and Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance; an enhanced DBS Disclosure is required for this post.
